Kurt D. Kuebler, CCM

Kurt’s esteemed club career has included the Tavistock Group, in Orlando, FL, where he has been the GeneralManager /COO of Isleworth Golf & Country Club, Isleworth Home Services and Isleworth Community Association. Prior to Isleworth, Kurt served in a similar capacity at The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, FL. Additionally, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ and started his career at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI. Kurt has also served as President of the Florida Chapter Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and recently completed his term as a National Director for the CMAA. Kurt’s unique background and experience working for both member-owned and private developer clubs, as well as having successfully managed country, golf and yacht clubs along with homeowners’ associations and support amenities, makes him especially well prepared for the private club search business.

Kurt has a strong understanding of operational matters in clubs and club communities, including the dynamics that occur with club members, boards, committees and leadership team and staff. This first hand knowledge is especially helpful when first setting expectations with the board or search committee when engaged to conduct a search for a new GM/COO or other key leadership role. It is additionally beneficial in qualifying potential candidates for such roles when they purport or suggest that they “can do it all” relative to the position profile that has been created; one has to know the right questions to ask in order to truly understand if someone can actually do the job.
