Cathy Harbin has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since 1992. Her involvement with PGA of America started as a chair for National Golf Day and now includes many PGA Chapter and Section awards. These awards include Merchandiser of the Year, Growth of the Game, Standard of Excellence, Horton Smith Award and The President’s Plaque. Additionally Cathy has been honored by the community at-large with recognitions such as Florida Times Union’s, 7 Most Powerful Women in Sports, Jacksonville Business Journal’s, Women of Influence, Golf Inc. Magazine’s Most Admired Golf Course Operators and Golf News Women of the Year. Cathy is a PGA Master Professional, LPGA member and CMAA member and was a golf course General Manager for over 20 years. She has worked with such great golf leaders as Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Nancy Lopez, Kathy Whitworth and countless other World Golf Hall of Fame members.

She is the past Director of Golf 20/20 which has the mission to enhance awareness and participation in the game of golf. The main initiative for 2009 is the adult player development program; Get Golf Ready in 5 Days. Cathy has a faithful dedication to the current and future health of the game of golf.
