Top 10 Questions for a Sales Candidate
Top Ten questions to ask a membership sales candidate (in no specific order):1: What are the specific characteristics/traits that you have that will assist the club in achieving our membership goals?
2: What do you consider your most significant sales accomplishment and why?
3: What are your hobbies?
4: Sell me the pen (or other basic item) I am holding.
This question is very important. The ideal response is for the sales person to discover how the pen will be utilized; what are you looking for in a pen; and other utilization/needs based questions.5: What would your last supervisor say about you?
6: What type of sales training do you have?
7: Scenario: The end of the month is quickly approaching and you are significantly behind your month’s goal. How do you handle?
8: A member approaches you in the club regarding his disappointment in the quality of his lunch. What do you do?
9: A prospect inquires about a previous membership incentive that a friend of his received for joining. How do you handle this?
10: Describe your energy level on a scale of one to ten.
