Talk with a Registered User
As you read an article that really interests you, you might want to follow up with the author for more information, to share ideas, or to start some sort of a conversation. If you email the author, however, the email may get lost in his/her inbox or even be considered spam. No worries . . . you can contact the author directly within GolfBizWiki. Here's how you do it. Go to the person's personal page. The easiest way to get there may be to click on the Registered Users link in the left column of a GolfBizWiki page, under Community. When the list of registered users appears, click on the name of the person you wish to contact. For our example, let's say you wanted to contact the NGF's esteemed Ben Fowler. You click on Ben Fowler in the list of registered users. Ben's personal page appears. Once you are on the person's personal page, click on the Talk tab. You will then see a form for entering your message. Type in the subject, the message, and click the "Send Message" button and you're done!Notes
- If there are other messages in the person's "mailbox," the message form will be at the bottom of the list of messages.
- The messages can be viewed by anyone that visits the person's talk tab. Keep that in mind as you write your message.
- Check the Talk tab on your personal page from time to time to see if you've received a message.
