Ladies Clinics

Requesting fun ideas for these clinics

I am conducting a series of short ladies clinics followed by a social gathering. I'm well versed in topics for these clinics but I want them to be very fun for the ladies attending. Does anyone have any insight as to how to put a fun but informative twist on a these? Thanks in advance for all your input.

I did a big New Years bash at our course, and had 42 attendees. We had drawings in the pro shop for savings on merchandise...you pick your item, then draw for your discount. Very well received, and lots of buyers. We also had a 2-for-one drink special in the lounge. Lots of fun "theme" decorations, and the attendance was 100% higher than expected. I've had lots of requests for a similar "clinic/party" for other holidays throughout the year.

Include food if possible and question and answer time. Networking time and encouraging ladies to exchange phone numbers for future playing partners I have also found to be beneficial to ladies and the facility.

I always have my clinic attendees "interview" each other and introduce one another to the class. This is a great way to get conversation started between people who don't know each other already, and also fun to find out things about your fellow golfer.

The main thing women want is to feel COMFORTABLE and safe--that they are just like everyone else and not the only one who doesn't know anything.
