How to Search for an Article

If you want to find an article or articles about a particular topic, a quick way to find them is to run a search. This article tells you about different ways to search GolfBizWiki.

Also, search GolfBizWiki before writing any article. A quick search will save you time in the long run because duplicate articles cannot be kept and will be deleted or merged.

Use the Search Box

  1. Type one or more keyword(s) that best describe your topic of interest in the Search box at the top right side of the screen. Press the Enter key when you are finished typing the keyword(s). The articles with those keywords will be displayed.
  2. Click on the best result. If you do not get a good result, try searching with a different keyword. If nothing comes up at all, check your spelling.

Use Categories and Facets

  1. Use the dropdown menus (under Articles by Theme or Articles by Type) in the top bar to select a category that is most related to the content you are looking for. Click on that category (e.g, Growing Revenues or Facility Management). The articles in that category are displayed. Read the titles and click on the article that most matches your requirements.
  2. If there are many articles listed, you may want to target your search more. Click on the Facets/Tags tab. Clicking on one of the facets will sort the articles by that facet and list the search results (relevant articles) below the tag cloud. Read the titles and click on the article that most matches your requirements.
  3. Use the tag cloud. Clicking on a word in the tag cloud starts a search for articles in the category that have that word identified as a tag. The articles will be listed below the tag cloud box.

Use the GolfBizWiki Tag Cloud

  3. Click on the article that seems most related to the topic you are looking for.
